Common Logic Circuits

There are several logic tasks that are performed so commonly that they have their own dedicated ICs. We will briefly talk about three of them: Decoders, Encoders, and Multiplexers.

These devices are often referred to as Medium Scale Integrated (MSI) circuits because of their size.
